Why is all the break-ups?

Shit I am sick again. Damn it. Always the same old thing. Sick before facilitating a camp. Previously I also fell sick a day before Business Camp. Must be because of all those junk food and the aircon in my room that's on full blast.

I don't know why but since the new intake of frehsmen flows in, I heard a lot of stories of couples breaking up. Some of them are my good friends. I feel sorry for them. I was just telling my Orientation Freshmen yesterday during dinner that they can expect to see alot of those girls breaking up with their army boyfriend. Some of the reasons are that Uni guys are more matured, loaded and street smart. We also can't deny the fact that those girls need companion when they go into a completely different environment. With their army boyfriend seems so distant, they need to hunt for a new partner in their new environment. It's saddening, but the same thing always repeat itself. When those army guys ORD, they will also be hunting for new girls. I find that commitment nowadays is a very rare word in a relationship. People nowadays are more into casual dating. But sometimes it's better to be single like me rather than having to worry about all these heartbreak.

There is this thing that I noticed also about girls nowadyas. They tend to go for guys with lots of cash and cars. The society is really changing. It was all about commitment and love in the past. And now it has involved into the battle of who got more cash and who is more flashy. Can't blame the girls though. The choice is in their hand and they have all the right to choose who they want to be with.

Yesterday went I was on my way home, there was this unusual sight of modified cars. There were a lot alot of them. It's seriously more than 150 cars. They keep passing by while I was waiting for my midnight bus. Some of them are seriously damn funky cars. There is even a few modified lorry and van. It looks really different with neon light decorating its exterior. There were a few Lambo and Ferrari. Cool stuff. Really wish I could own one of those. That's why must work hard to own one of those sinful indulgence man.

Anyway I will be off for Orientation camp for 3 days till Saturday. The last camp that I will go before school start. It's gonna be exciting. Especially when we booked Aloha Chalet for our Pirates night. Haha. They don't dare to organize a night walk as it's 7th month. Meanwhile please take care. Will come back with more updates on Saturday.

Nice FireWorks. Happy National Day to all Singaporeans!
