The Beach Party (Part 1)

Watched Hard Gay Newest Episode hooo... After they went missing for 2 weeks, finally they released 4 new episodes. It is one of the funniest episode ever. I really hate the Cooking episode. Anyway that's beside the point. I wanted to show some picture from The Beach Party. It is not an outing to the beach. But it is my Freshmen CIP Project. Basically there are Dod, Bing Xiang, Suiyi, Denise, Siew Ling, Jaenny, Jansen and me in the Main Comm. I don't know where this idea of Beach Party comes from. They were mentioning since we use sand as our material, then we call it The Beach Party. And if we use rice then we call it The Rice Party. Haha. Damn lame rite. We nearly come out with a lame slogan also "Sand-ing the message of harmony". Fortunately not.

Basically The Beach Party is an event organized in conjuction with the 24 hours Racial Harmony day Marathon held at Republic Poly. Seriously that place is damn freaking huge. Total we got 26 facilitators and 100 freshmen. They had 1 day to come out with the plan for the design of their sandart. And 1 day to execute with limited materials.

However other than the cocky name, the art pieces produced by them is marvellous given they have no Arts background. The whole idea of the project is for the freshmen to come up with a huge Sand Art in their group. Not bad some art piece were sold at $500 and some were at $250. I am so proud of them. In total we got 20 sandart with minimum price of $150 per piece. We are planning to sell off the remaining 18 soon. Anyone interested?
